CareMinds Inc. is committed to safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines our approach to data protection and details the kinds of information we might collect and process when you engage with the “Solver” software application on mobile devices (referred to as the “App” or “our App”).

“Personal data” refers to any information relating to an identifiable individual, whether the identification is direct or indirect, particularly through data or other specific factors like physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural, or social identifiers.

This Privacy Policy is applicable to all individuals and entities accessing the App (“Users”).

As defined under the GDPR, we act as the data controller, except where stated otherwise.

REQUESTS

For requests on access, portability, or deletion of personal data, email us at service@careminds.org with the subject “Your rights to maintain confidentiality in the state of California”.

Verifiable requests require:

  • Sufficient information for verification, including name, address, and email. Additional security questions may be asked.
  • Detailed description of the request for proper understanding and response.

Note: We may request further information for verification. Personal information from requests is used solely for verification and not for any other purpose, and will be deleted once the verification purpose is fulfilled.

Response to verifiable consumer requests is within forty-five (45) days. Only two requests per customer per year are required to be responded to.

EQUAL RIGHTS

Exercising rights will not result in discriminatory treatment. However, certain services may be affected if personal data is deleted.

SALE OF DATA

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

II. INFORMATION WE PROCESS

Categories of processed information include:

Functional Information

Necessary for contract performance between you and us. Without this, full App functionality and services cannot be provided.

Activity Information

Includes technical access to your device’s camera or photos for image analysis and file saving. User consent is required for accessing and using images or files.

User Content

Text, images, and AI-generated content via the App. Usage is at your own risk and under applicable law compliance. OpenAI, L.L.C. is engaged for AI content creation. For OpenAI’s privacy practices, see Section IV.

Contact Information

Collected when you contact us. Stored and processed for effective response and service provision.

Automatically Processed Information

With permission, third-party technologies analyze data sent by your device (e.g., ID for Advertisers). Information processing begins upon permission granting. Withdrawal of permission is possible; see opt-out options in Section VIII.

Device Details

Device identifiers and other details are reported when accessing the App.

Processed Data Types:

– Device information: type, OS, model, screen attributes, battery life, performance metrics.

– Internet connection details: carrier, network type, IP address, session times, speed.

– Location data: IP address, geographical codes, language, time zone.

– Other identifiers: user IDs.

– App-related information: name, API key, version.

– Cookies and similar technologies for App operation optimization.

– Log file information: access requests and interactions with the App.

– Ad-related data: interaction with ads within the App.

– In-App events: user engagement and activities.

Automatic data processing technologies and their control are beyond our direct oversight. For third-party data profiling and processing, refer to Section IV.

Payment Information

Handled by our e-commerce provider (Apple) for in-app purchases. We do not access your payment details.

Access “in-app” purchase rules directly from the App Store.

III. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Our objectives include:

  • (a) Service provision using functional and automatically processed information.
  • (b) App improvement through user behavior analysis.
  • (c) Interest-based advertising and personalized content delivery.
  • (d) Communication for feedback, marketing, and support.
  • (e) Fraud prevention, legal enforcement, and user safety assurance.
  • Changes to processing purposes will be communicated via Privacy Policy updates.

IV. SHARING OF YOUR INFORMATION

Information sharing follows the guidelines in this Privacy Policy, adhering to the U.S. Digital Advertising Alliance’s principles.

We select third-party services to ensure user data protection but cannot ensure total security during transmission to third parties.

Information from cookies, log files, and device data may be shared with third-party advertisers for targeted advertising.

VI. DATA RETENTION PERIOD

Personal data is retained as necessary for service provision and legal compliance. Requests for data erasure can be made.

VIII. OPT-OUT INSTRUCTIONS

Marketing Tracking Opt-out:

– Manage tracking permissions in device settings (Settings > Privacy > Tracking).

– Disable personalized ads (Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising).

Location Data Opt-out:

– Disable location services for the App (Settings > Privacy > Location Services).

IX. SECURITY MEASURES

We employ industry standards for data security, including encryption and technical safeguards.

Despite efforts, absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Security breaches will prompt notifications in compliance with the law.

X. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The App is not designed for individuals under eighteen (18). Use by minors requires parental consent and supervision.

XI. PRIVACY POLICY UPDATES

Regular updates to this Privacy Policy will be posted with any changes.
